Welcome to Eastown Pediatric Dentistry!
Dr. Jessica Massie and her team are excited that you're considering us to care for your little one's precious smile, and we can't wait to get to know your family. We offer patient-centered dental care with a conservative approach tailored to your child's unique needs. Patient education is also a priority, and we take ample time to teach parents and kids about their dental health so they can make good decisions about diet and oral care at home.
Our team works together to provide each child with an exceptional experience every time they visit our Eastown children's dental office. We would love for you to take a minute and learn more about our team here. We are excited to meet your child and care for their smile!

Dr. Jessica Massie
Dr. Jessica grew up a Midwest kid, spending most of her time outside and playing sports. She went to Indiana University where she had the privilege of playing on the Women's Tennis Team. After IU she joined the class of 2008 at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. In Dental School, she learned that teeth are incredibly important and complex beyond belief! She spent countless hours in the pediatric clinic because, let's be honest, kids are way more fun! After graduating from UofM, Dr. Jess continued her studies at the University of California, San Francisco. While at UCSF, she studied pediatric dentistry and earned a Master’s degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences.
Dr. Jess and her husband moved to Chicago for a few years and then to GR to start their family. They thought having kids would keep them young and cool (quite the opposite)! Luckily with a 10, 8, and 4-year-old, Dr. Jess is up to date on all things kid-related and understands that being a parent is REALLY HARD. After practicing for over a decade, she decided to start Eastown Pediatric Dentistry because she fell in love with the community and wanted to share her knowledge and expertise in a neighborhood office setting where patients are treated like family. Dr. Jess is passionate about promoting oral health from a young age and teaching parents how to set their kids up for a lifetime of health in a way that is realistic and attainable. Her commitment to environmental stewardship shows up in all aspects of the office design and coincides with her treatment philosophy - that a preventive approach results in a more sustainable outcome.
Dr. Jess cares deeply for every child she has the privilege of providing care. She enjoys keeping up with continuing education and advances in technology that will benefit her patients. She has been a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist since 2012 and is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the UofM Dental School. She is committed to always going above and beyond to offer the highest level of pediatric dental care.
THANK YOU for trusting Eastown Pediatric Dentistry with your child’s oral health care - it takes a village and we’re committed to guiding you and your child every step of the way!
JUST FOR FUN... Dr. Jess still enjoys tennis (pickleball too!) and she enjoys the Peloton, running, and practicing yoga. Dr. Jess spends as much time as possible outside; you may see her walking her dog, chasing her kids around the playground, skiing, shooting hoops (move over Steph Curry), or mountain biking in one of our awesome local parks! She loves the Indiana Hoosiers and Michigan Wolverines. Also, much to her Achilles’ dismay, she will never turn down a sprinting challenge.

Jaime
Born and raised in Michigan, Jaime lives in Jenison with her fiance and their son. You’ll find her welcoming families at the front desk and assuring each visit runs smoothly. Outside of work, she loves spending time on the water-whether boating or relaxing with friends and family. Jaime is an avid reader, a devoted coffee lover, and is always down for a game night. She’s thrilled to be a part of the EPD team and to help create a warm, welcoming environment for all our patients. Fun fact: Jaime is an Irish twin!

Caitlyn, RDH
Born in China and raised in Michigan, Cait resides in Alger Heights with her husband Drew and two rescue pitbulls, Mona and Murray! Cait went to Ferris State University and graduated with a degree in dental hygiene. She previously worked in general dentistry but found that she had a passion for pediatric dentistry! Aside from being a dental hygienist, Cait loves crocheting, watching soccer, playing video games, and running. A fun fact about Cait is that she knows Taekwondo! Cait is so excited to be a part of EPD and the Eastown community!

Dre, RDA
As a passionate advocate for children’s dental health, I love working with kids and finding creative ways to promote oral health to our patients and their families every day. Over the years, my dedication to prevention has only grown, and I’m more committed than ever to educating both parents and children in hopes that our team can be a trusted resource and support system for families.
My name is Andrea, but I go by Dre. I’m a Registered Dental Assistant and have been licensed since 2017. I’ve worked in the dental field for about eight years, with six of those years focused on pediatrics. This experience has given me a strong foundation and a wealth of knowledge that I bring to my role every day. I truly enjoy working with our amazing patients and watching their growth with each visit. I strive to explain every procedure in simple, age-appropriate terms so our patients feel safe, comfortable, and confident.
Earning the trust of both parents and children is a top priority. Building that connection helps ensure a positive and successful dental experience every time.
As a mom to a four-year-old daughter who has experienced dental anxiety, I’ve gained valuable insight into helping children navigate those feelings. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is watching our young patients overcome challenges with the combined support of their families and our team. We all work together to make their visits as stress-free and positive as possible.
A few fun facts about me: My daughter, Alessi, keeps me busy and constantly on the move. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, which helps me connect with diverse families and ensure everyone feels welcome and understood. My favorite season is fall—I love the changing leaves and fun seasonal activities—but summer is a close second, especially because I get to enjoy my favorite treat: an upside-down banana split!
I’m excited to get to know you and your little ones, and I hope our team can show your family just how fun a visit to Eastown Pediatric Dentistry can be. I can’t wait to see you soon!
Amazing experience with our 2 and 4 year olds! After a not so great experience at a different office our kiddos were apprehensive about returning to the dentist and Dr. Jess and her staff have completely changed that and made our kids love the dentist again!! Thank you!! -C.M.
